Why the consultation comes before any charge
The first thing many travellers want to know is whether asking a question commits them to anything. It does not. You describe your dates, your group and the places you have in mind, and we put together a first draft without asking for payment. The draft is a working document rather than a sales pitch, and it is meant to be argued with and reshaped.
We work this way because a good itinerary is built through conversation. If we charged from the first message, guests would hold back, ask fewer questions and end up accepting a plan that does not quite fit. Keeping the early stage free removes that pressure and lets us do the job properly, with your real preferences on the table.
How it works in practice
Once you are happy with a version, we start reserving hotels, vehicles and tickets, and send a confirmation that sets out each service and how the deposit is handled. The final price depends on group size, hotel category and season, so we do not put up a vague starting figure. We give you a specific quote once your requirements are clear.
- Group size: two guests and six guests need different vehicles and rooms, so the per-person cost differs.
- Hotel category: the same city offers several standards, and that choice moves the price.
- Season: hotels and vehicles are tighter in peak months and generally cost more.
- Changes later: upgrading a hotel or switching to a larger car simply updates the quote.
What to watch out for
It is easy to assume that free planning means loose numbers. In fact the opposite is true. Because we are not paid to talk, we make a point of showing the itemised breakdown, so you can see what each element costs before anything is committed. Every line, from guiding to entrance fees, is visible to you.
Another common misunderstanding is that tailoring must cost more than a group tour. Whether it is good value depends on your numbers and needs, not on the word tailor-made. A private trip for four often compares well with joining a fixed group once you count what is actually included.
When to just ask us
If your dates and group size are settled, send them over and we will return a clear quote. If you are still weighing up different directions, tell us your rough budget and preferences and we will shape the draft around them.
