Why a trip can be assembled in pieces
Many guests assume that booking with us means taking a whole package, but our service is built to be split. You can take a hotel on its own, a car on its own, or a hotel with a car, and you can also ask for only a few days in the middle of a longer trip. Nothing forces you into a fixed bundle.
This suits travellers who already know their way around. They may only lack a reliable transfer, or a hotel in a city where the choices are hard to judge from photographs. Fitting the service to the gap, rather than to a template, is exactly what we are set up to do.
How it works in practice
Tell us what each section needs, for example three days of car only, two guided days in the middle and a single hotel at the end, and we will list the matching costs line by line. You see what every item covers before you decide, and you can drop or add a piece at any point.
- Car only: a vehicle and driver for the road and transfers, with no guiding inside the sights.
- Hotel only: a per-night booking service that can cover just a few nights.
- Car with hotel: for guests who want comfortable logistics without a guide all day.
- Car with hotel and guide: the fullest option, with driving, rooms and commentary handled.
- Split by day: some days guided, some not, arranged separately.
What a car-only day looks like
When you choose a car only, the driver looks after the road, the parking and your luggage, and leaves the sightseeing entirely to you. He is not there to narrate the history, and he will not walk the sites with you. That is the point of the option, and we say so plainly so there are no crossed expectations.
If you would like commentary at some stops and to roam freely at others, we can add a guide for just those days. The cost is broken out separately, which makes it easy to compare and decide where a guide is worth it for you.
When to just ask us
