Set out in the confirmation document
When your itinerary is confirmed, we provide a document that states the deposit ratio and the accepted payment methods. Bank transfer and online payment are the usual routes. Because the terms are written down at that point, you know exactly what is due and when, rather than finding out later.
A deposit is required before we can secure hotels, and it is not simply a formality. In peak season, rooms and timed tickets for places such as the Mogao Caves and Jiuzhaigou are released and taken quickly, and a deposit is what lets us hold a place in your name.
Paying from Hong Kong
Guests from Hong Kong can pay using AlipayHK linked to a card issued in Hong Kong, and it is sensible to have WeChat Pay set up as well in case a particular merchant accepts only one of the two. Hotel bills, attraction tickets and the costs within our itinerary are priced in renminbi, so exchange rates and any cross-border card fees depend on your issuing bank.
- Deposit ratio and methods stated in the confirmation document.
- Bank transfer and online payment as the usual options.
- Balance and its timing listed in the same document.
- AlipayHK with a Hong Kong card, plus WeChat Pay as backup.
What is already included
The vehicle, the driver and the guide are included in your quoted price, so day-to-day spending is mainly personal. There are no shopping stops, and our pricing does not change before departure.
When to just ask us
If a payment runs into a limit or is declined, message your consultant on WhatsApp and we will help you switch to another method. Nobody should be stuck at a counter wondering what to do next.
