A first draft within three working days
The design step is where your trip takes shape, and it produces a first draft within three working days. Give us your dates, group size, rough budget and the places you have in mind, and within about three days you will have a day-by-day outline to react to.
The draft is a real document, not a paragraph of reassurance. It sets out what happens on each day, roughly how much driving is involved, where you stay, which sights you see in what order and how meals are handled. That level of detail is what lets you judge whether the pace is right.
When it takes longer
Some trips need more time at the design stage, and we would rather say so than promise a draft we cannot stand behind. Peak season, or an itinerary involving special paperwork such as a Tibet permit, can add to the timeline. We will tell you the expected timing up front so you can plan around it.
- Send dates, group size, budget range and wish-list together for the fastest reply.
- The draft is free, with no obligation to proceed.
- Peak season and permit-heavy trips take longer, and we will say so.
- Your consultant stays with the design from first enquiry onward.
Revising until it fits
Most travellers change something after they read the plan, and that is exactly the point of a draft. You can shift days, swap hotels, drop a sight or slow the pace, and we will rework the itinerary until it feels right. We only start booking hotels and tickets once you confirm.
When to just ask us
If a draft is unclear, or you need it sooner because flights are closing in, tell your consultant and we will see what can be done. Someone is available every day from 09:00 to 21:00 Beijing time.
