A private trip means private
When we describe a small group, we mean your own party and nobody else. The vehicle is yours for the duration of the trip, and no other travellers join partway through. That is true from the first transfer to the last drop-off, and it is a promise rather than a preference.
It sounds like a small thing until you have watched a coach empty at a shop, or waited while a shared car collects people from three different hotels. Travelling privately keeps the day centred on what your group wants to do.
Drivers, guides and rooms
Within the group, roles are kept separate. The driver drives and the guide guides; they are two different people, so the person explaining what you are seeing is not the person watching the road. Rooms are arranged according to how your group travels together, with twin, double or family rooms as appropriate, and a single room if you prefer one.
- Your vehicle serves only your own party.
- The driver and the guide are separate people.
- Room types chosen to suit how your group is made up.
- No shopping stops at any point in the itinerary.
Sharing only if you choose to
There is one exception, and it only happens if you ask for it. If you would like to lower the cost per person, we can help you combine with other travellers, and we will tell you in advance exactly who would be joining and under what arrangement. Without that request, the trip stays private.
When to just ask us
If your group has particular needs, perhaps older travellers, young children or friends who want separate rooms, say so early and we will plan the vehicle and accommodation around it. Your consultant is available daily from 09:00 to 21:00 Beijing time.
