Why you can name your own hotel
You can choose the hotel yourself and we will check room types and prices and help with the booking. If you have no particular target, give us a budget, an area you prefer and a note on who is travelling, and we will recommend a few suitable hotels for you to pick from.
Naming your own hotel gives peace of mind, especially for guests who return regularly or have a brand they trust. Our job is to secure the hotel you want on the dates you need, and to flag any gap between expectation and reality.
Many guests already have a hotel or guesthouse in mind but are not sure whether it can be booked or whether the rooms will suit. Our role is to clear up that uncertainty first, so that before you decide you can see the actual room types, the location and the amendment rules.
How we handle it
For families we look at family rooms, connecting rooms and breakfast arrangements, and for groups with older guests we favour hotels near a lift, on lower floors or in a convenient location. If you hold loyalty benefits or need a particular room type, mention it when booking and we will accommodate it where we can.
- Families: family and connecting rooms, breakfast, and the possibility of an extra bed.
- Older guests: hotels near a lift, on lower floors or close to transport.
- Remote areas: places such as Hemu and Longji are mostly guesthouses, unlike city hotels.
- Straight answers: we describe the rooms honestly and do not exaggerate.
What to watch out for
Accommodation in remote areas is mainly guesthouses, and room size, soundproofing and hot water may differ from a city hotel. We describe this honestly so you are not caught out. Popular hotels also fill early in the peak season, so tell us your preference once the itinerary is confirmed.
If your chosen hotel is full for your dates, we will tell you straight away and offer comparable alternatives in the same area and class for you to weigh up. We will never quietly swap it for something else.
When to just ask us
You can give us a hotel name, or simply a budget and an area, and we can work with either. Please include your dates, group size and room requirements so the price check is accurate.
